Xbox game pass cloud saves preventing launch

I have the xbox game pass and can no longer launch Metro Exodus. My cloud and local data are out of sync and xbox game pass prompts me to choose which one to use. As the game is full screen this popup is behind the game window alt-tabbing to the popup is
not possible, and therefor I cannot select where to load the save from. Either due to the popup interrupting the load, or due to the absence of a selection of either the cloud or local save, it crashes.

I would like to ask you if reinstalling the game did worked. I'm also stuck in this and it sucks.

Don't reinstall the game, just do this:

Solved the problem by deleting manually the local saves (after safety copy of course).

They can be found in User\AppData\Local\Packages\DeepSIlver...\SystemAppData\wgs

The game syncs saves from cloud after starting, takes a minute with black screen, then worked fine.

See if you can make the game go into a windowed mode by pressing alt + enter. If you can, then you will be able to access your cloud saves and choose which one you want to use.

Nope, I cant use that or f11. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Yes , the game data is saved on the cloud and the season pass you purchase is linked to your account. When you log in to the new xbox box and launch fallout it will sync the save data.
