    Xbox Game Pass - BROFORCE - installation froze at 83%


    Hey! I just got Xbox Game Pass [Basic] for 3 months and I have a problem.

    I wanted to play a game called Broforce so i tried to install it. The installation froze exactly at 83% (367.2MB / 438.8MB) and it doesn't want to download anymore - it says its downloading, but the download speed is 0B/s... I tried to cancel and download
    it again, but it doesn't even let me cancel it. So it just says it's downloading but it's not and I cannot do anything about it, even restarting my PC doesn't help. Other games are fine and I can download them without any problems.

    Please help guys! I really don't want it to be in the "downloading" state until my Game Pass runs out. I don't even really want the game anymore, all I care about is to solve the problem.

    EDIT: The problem happens both in the Xbox app and in Microsoft Store directly.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand having issue with downloading games on PC. We recommend trying the troubleshoot guide for

    installing games on windows 10    . Also make sure there is enough hard drive space where you are installing.

    Yeah typical support from microsoft, I love it.

    This guide is worthless for my problem. I have about 680GB left on my HDD and Broforce is like 0.5GB. The installation froze and i cant even cancel it, ITS STILL "DOWNLOADING" AND LITERALLY EVEN RESTARTING THE PC DOESNT HELP. Your support is trash, wasted
    my time, wasted my money for the game pass, im so stupid i trusted microsoft...

    Best thing I can think of is to delete everything thats related to Dragon age inquisition from your console and re-install it again. Then wait for it to finish installing and any update it needs before playing. Similar freezes happen to me when i play the
    game before it finishes installing.

    How meny full XB1 games you have installion on 500GB HDD.

    I have 83 games downloaded, including a bunch of indie crap, lol. A lot of those games are installed on my 3TB external hard drive.
