xbox game pass blocking you from playing the game you have bought

im saying this again. xbox game pass has blocked me from playing my game (forza horizon 4). I bought this game when my xbox game pass expired but i think xbox said i had my game pass even though it expired. Im not sure why xbox hasnt fixed this yet. I did the same complaint about this in 2020 but 0 info was gained. I just want to play the game peacefully and keep learning. But Xbox doesnt want to listen. I dont wanna buy the game pass or rebuy the game for it to be blocked again. And if i buy it on steam i will lose all of my progress which isnt enjoyable. Also adding on it was the Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition; so thats a hefty amount of money to spend on a game.

Having the same exact issue but with Oblivion. Bought it last night and says I need to "renew my game pass subscription" even though I don't have game pass and I digitally purchased the game.

Have you bought the game or were you playing it through Game Pass? The game was removed from Game Pass so if you didn't purchase it, you would need to in order to keep playing it.

Are you playing on PC or Xbox? You’re playing on PC the fact that it’s on the Ubisoft service may be blocking it from counting. You really just need to start a Game Pass game so any game will do

Are you trying to play the game from Game Pass? Because in addition to not being signed in, it will block you from accessing the servers if you are if you’re not in a supported country.

Did you own game before joining game pass??? If not and you got it from game pass you will have to renew to gain access to play. If you bought it from store then i am not sure why you would get that notification.
