Xbox Game Pass App Now Won’t Connect to Xbox

Thanks for the quick reply. I appreciate it. I tried the factory reset as suggested (thanks for the tip, i didn’t realize you could keep apps and games. That’s a great feature.) Unfortunately, the game pass app still refuses to rexognize the console.

Not sure what exactly happened, but after a few more restarts, my Game Pass app can find the Xbox.

There are some weird issues with add-on content after the reset, but otherwise in good shape. Thanks for the help.

I’m having the same issue. Told me to connect to Xbox live but it won’t connect. I am connected to the internet because the other apps work. Can’t contact Xbox because their virtual assistant is a nightmare and freezes up.

So I tried to remove my account and re add it, but now it won’t even let me add an account back to the Xbox. Now I can’t use any apps. Basically stuck.

I did answer the question, I can’t test the second device if it will connect to Xbox live because I don’t have game pass on the device yet. The problem Xbox has game pass and won’t connect.
