Xbox game pass app issue - dpad, joysticks and L/R trigger buttons not responding in game

Hello. My controller was already updated to the latest drive. I would like to clarify that the controller can connect to the computer. I get it to work with fine Steam games, all buttons and inputs work fine. It is only with GamePass games. Even in the Xbox PC app, I can move through it and select things with the A button. It is just that when I launched these games using the Xbox app on PC, the controller doesn't work. Only half the time will it read inputs, and the only inputs the games will read are from the Left stick moving through menus and the Dpad moving left and right. None of the other buttons, bumpers, or triggers respond.

1.press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.

2. Select Console Settings, and then select System info.

3. Once you`re in the System information page, please press these buttons in sequence on the controller:

Pull the left trigger.

Pull the right trigger.

Press the X button.

Press the Y button.

Press the left bumper ( button above the left trigger ).

Press the right bumper ( button above the right trigger ).

Press Up (Dpad)

Press A

Press Left (Dpad)

Press X

Reset System Setting will come up.

Go ahead and follow the Reset steps and the pass code will not be back.

Hello, I have tried the options you have mentioned. I should have specified, I am on Xbox Series X. And this only happens whenever I have the Trigger-Lock on the controller set all the way up so the travel distance is tiny. When this happens and I move a joystick, the trigger will stop outputting the button in my game. I have tried Soft Resetting, trying a wired connection, and updating any firmware. The Issue appears to be in the Xbox Accessories app, whenever using the trigger and joystick at the same time, will cause the trigger to fail. Thank you. If it will help I can also send a video of this happening.

Can you please push the middle button on your Xbox 360 controller and go to Games and Apps on the left. Once your at the Games & Apps tab, find Recent, and press A. In the recent tab, go to the right once with your DPAD or left joystick and you'll see your
recently downloaded titles. Press A on Serious Sam 3 and then press Play.

This game will then be listed in your My Games section and your Recent section.

I know how you feel, my A button and Right trigger act like its Down on the Dpad. Happens in and out of games. Bought a new controller and it still happens.
