Xbox Game Pass App doesn't recognize my membership

Hello,

I am signed into the Xbox app for Windows 10. I have Windows 10 build 19042.630 (version 20H2) and, despite being signed into my Xbox account for Game Pass (my subscription is valid until March 2021), the Xbox app doesn't recognize that I have a membership.
So, if I try to install a game, it takes me to the page to sign up for game pass. So if I have a game I want to install, instead of having the install option, I get this screen:

Instead of giving me the option to install. I also can't launch games I own and already have installed from the Xbox app. I just uninstalled and re-installed the Xbox app. What can I do to fix this?

Uninstalling Xbox Console Companion app solved this problem for me.

Same issue. I let my last game pass expire in April, setup a new Xbox Live Gold membership and upgraded it to Game Pass Ultimate. I now can't redeem any free games and get misleading Gold deals if I buy it directly or don't use the shopping cart on the web page.

Its like it forgot my gold membership (says cancelled on membership page) and won't include it or recognize "Game Pass Ultimate is upgraded Gold" anymore. I tried calling Xbox support and made zero headway with them.

At least the workaround will help with some discounts/deals, but doesn't really resolve not getting your new free game every 2 weeks.

Hi I have a moga xp5x+ and Microsoft Xbox pass does not recognize it as connected in the app but my computer shows connected to moga so I am not able to play games on Microsoft Xbox pass since it's not detected . I am using wired as my controller doesn't even show up in Bluetooth menu at all.

I'm having the same issue, It's not downloading my gamer information and doesn't recognize that I have an Xbox Gold Live membership.
