Xbox game pass and live between 3 console

We have 3 xboxes, my partners and both sons have one. My partner and son share game pass and live in a monthly subscription. We want to add my younger son to this. Im pretty useless at this stuff but am

I right thinking they can share the game pass between the 3 but we would need another live pass for the third? So if i purchased a year live pass then they would all still have access to the same game pass and be able to share games etc? Thanks

You can't share across 3 consoles. Sharing is done through the Home setting and you can only set 1 console as your Home at a time. In order to use everything on a third console, it would all need to be purchases on a second account.

Minecraft is a paid game, so it will require a Game Pass Core or Ultimate membership in order to play online multiplayer.

You can share Game Pass between 2 consoles at the same time, by enabling one as the Home Xbox, but at this time you cannot share Game Pass between 3 consoles or accounts.

You can get Ultimate Game Pass for $1 right now in some regions. It includes Xbox live, Game Pass for console, and Game Pass for PC. Even if you don't use the Game Pass for PC it is worth getting for a $1 to get Xbox Live and Game Pass for 3 months.
