Xbox game pass and game share

Hi. Can I share a game pass account like I can games via game share, or does each gamertag need to have it's own account?

sharing xbox live subsciption i can't play backwards compatibility games online

hi my friend share with me his live gold pass,we play and share all the games without problems but when i want to play xbox 360 games online the game say to me that i got no live pass and i can't play online just offline.

can someone help us?

Xbox game sharing

I do game sharing, does it only share games,game pass, xbox live etc. Does it share things in my file manager too? Or is that a seperate thing?

Yes, Game Pass can be gameshared (EA Access works as well). Assuming this Game Pass subscription is active on your account, you will need to make your Xbox console the “Home” Xbox in order to share it with other accounts that log on to your console too.

Actually EA Access cannot be shared, this I know first hand.

When saying share the pass, do you mean on someone else's console or on your console?

Hey Erik,

Unfortunately they are separate passes. The Xbox Pass for PC cannot be shared with an Xbox like the way you would share an Xbox game pass through designating an Xbox as home and sharing the benefits that way. PC pass and Xbox pass are separate entities.

On PC, even if Xbox Game Pass Ultimate there is no option to share it yet but if you're pertaining to Xbox console, yes, you can share Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

While you can share Game Pass features on an Xbox console with other accounts, you cannot share Game Pass on the PC. Only the account that purchased Game Pass can use in on the PC.

Game Pass can't be shared on PC at the momemt, but the games downloaded on the Home Xbox can be shared if they are a Game Pass title. Here is some more information from a previous forum thread that might help.

It sounds like your friend has downloaded the game though xbox game pass. The games in xbox game pass can be shared but game pass itself can not be.
