Xbox game not downloading properly, yes I've already looked at xbox support page for it.

Today I got Witcher 3 and I was excited to play it. I inserted the disc, an update thing popped up I hit yes, etc and it started downloading. Then after awhile it froze and wouldn't, so I cancelled and retried a few times to no avail. I looked up what the
issue was on xbox support and followed those steps. I started downloading it while in offline mode and it has gotten to 50% twice now and frozen. On top of that it constantly pops up 'Installation Stopped" while I'm trying, and it's getting annoying that I
can't do anything.

Apps missing?

I've been trying to find the Funimation app on my Xbox 360 since yesterday. I've looked through the "Browse Apps" and searched with the "Search Apps" multiple times to no avail. I've cleared the cache and tried looking again and it's still missing. I've
reset my Xbox 360 and uninstalled system updates using LB > RB > X > /repeat, reinstalled them by restarting the Xbox and the app still isn't showing up for me. I'm missing other apps too like this "Maxim" (or something similarly named) app which shows up
sometimes but usually isn't there. I don't want that though, just thought it was worth mentioning.

I have accessed the apps page while logged into an Xbox Live enabled account with a valid internet connection every time I've looked in case anybody thinks to ask those questions. Also yes I've looked at xbox help pages to figure this out but none of them
deal with the problem of not being able to find it at all, just troubleshooting a problem with an already downloaded app.

Also if it's connected at all I get an error page every time I try to view my account or profile on the xbox website. Not expecting help with that in this forum but thought that might also be worth mentioning.

 

Can you use other discs with your disc player? Have you checked if there are scratches or other visible damage signs to the the disc you are using?

When you start installing the game disc have you selected the option of No against installing the update and allowed the console to install the complete game from disc. Once the game has installed you can then allow the updates to see if you have any better
luck?
