Xbox game launcher won't sign me in the right profile

Every time I try to sign in to the launcher, it automatically signs me into the wrong profile. I tried reseting the app and even reinstalling it. I also tried going into my Windows settings and setting it to always log me into the right account, but it still won't work.

I'm honestly disappointed in Xbox that they can't even make a simple game launcher work right. :/

It appears that you are having issue signing in your account through the Minecraft Launcher in Xbox app. Let us check what is causing the issue so that we can provide the most accurate troubleshooting steps to resolve your concern.

Here the troubleshooting steps suggested by the game developer support to help resolve the issue.

1. Make sure your version of Windows is up to date.

Press the Start button on the taskbar, type settings, and then select Settings.
On Windows 10, select Update & Security. On Windows 11, select Windows Update.
On the Windows Update page, select Check for updates to see if any updates are available including optional updates for your device.
Once the updates have downloaded, select Install now to start the installation.
Following installation, we recommend that you restart your device so that the latest updates can take effect.

2. Make sure both the Xbox and Gaming Services apps are up to date

Press the Start button on the taskbar, type store, and open the Microsoft Store app.
Select Library.
Under Updates & downloads, check if there are any updates available for the Xbox app or Gaming Services app. If an update is available, select Update.

3. Make sure you are signed in to the Xbox app and the Store with the same account.

> To make sure your permissions for the game can be validated, be sure to sign in to both the Store and the Xbox app using the same account that was used to purchase the game.

4. Repair and Reset Store.

Press the Windows key and the R key simultaneously.
A window will appear. Type in ‘WSReset’ and hit enter.

5. Repair and Reset Minecraft Launcher.

Go to the Start Menu
Right click on the Minecraft Launcher
Select ‘More’
Open ‘App Settings’
Within these settings, click on ‘Repair’ and ‘Reset.’

When it signs in all the way it will say hello and show my gamer picture. Right now it will say hello like it signed in but won't show that I'm signed in. When I play a game and it tells me to sign in I choose my profile and it will pop up again to have
me choose a profile

Signed out of the Launcher, Uninstalled the game and Launcher, and then reinstalled and signed into the launcher, and re installed the game.

Sadly, same result, when in game, it does not let me sign me in.

I'm having the same issue where it wont let me sign into my profile at all. Right at start up before I even try to sign in I get the message saying "can't sign in" and it won't let me into my profile at all. I have found that if I disconnect my Xbox from
the internet I can at least sign in to my profiles and play my games offline. This sign in error is bs! it shouldn't matter if Xbox live is messed up or not or if Im connected or not. I should be able to at least sign in to my profile!
