    Xbox Game Disc and Digital Titles Region Boundaries


    Hello,

    I have a rather simple question to ask it involves the restrictions set on most Digital and Physical products that have a license to play in a device. As we all know sometimes they do not work if you are traveling to a different country. This is due to region
    boundaries with Geo barriers and licensing laws in the specific country, does the Xbox supersede this? region free play?

    I know my thoughts are poorly worded hope I can get a good response on this.

    Hi,

    Xbox One disc games are region free. This means, as long as you can get hold of the game on a disc it
    will work on your console, not matter where you are in the world.

    Digital downloads on Xbox One can have regional restrictions, but the games themselves won't stop working if you move to another country, taking your console or external hard drive with you. You may have issues re-downloading some of games if you change
    regions though.

    Game codes and currency codes are region locked.
