Xbox game digital code wont launch after download was successful

Hi! need help on how to solve an issue. I recently bought a Xbox Call Of Duty digital code from Amazon. But after redeeming the code and downloading the game on the console, the game would not launch. It only goes to the initial set up of the screen and once you click start the game would not open.

May I ask what Call of duty game are you pertaining to? Also, please perform a powercycle on your console and then try launching the game again.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

I appreciate you letting me know. Will you be playing the game offline or online multiplayer?

If you will be playing the game online multiplayer make sure that you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. To check follow the steps below:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.

If offline play, simply follow the steps below:

Settings > General > Network Settings > Go Offline.

It’s the Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. Already tried the power cycle of the console but still did not work. We have un-installed the game and currently on re-installation process.

If you buy a digital version of the game in the Xbox store, then you simply launch it after downloading it.
