Xbox game capture won't record at 60 fps despite that being the setting

Discus and support Xbox game capture won't record at 60 fps despite that being the setting in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; So as the title implies, whenever I try to use the shortcut to clip the last 30 seconds of my game, the video always end up being around 30 fps instead...     Xbox game capture won't record at 60 fps despite that being the setting


    So as the title implies, whenever I try to use the shortcut to clip the last 30 seconds of my game, the video always end up being around 30 fps instead of 60 fps. I set it to 60 fps (high video quality), and also v-sync is not turned on. Is there any way for me to solve this issue? It would be super helpful. Thanks

    Game runs at around 80-100 fps so yeah this isn't exactly the issue

    If the game is not running at 60, it won't record at 60

    It copies directly from the frame buffer

    I record just fine in 60 fps. You're sure that in Settings > Gaming > Captures you have the Video frame rate under Recorded video at 60 fps and that video quality is set to High? I have a Razer Laptop with a 2070 and my output looks great. Also, some games do not record at 60 fps so make sure that what you're trying to capture supports that. If worse comes to worse you could also record using OBS if you wanted to, it's free and easy to set up/learn.

    Well if you are recording Xbox footage at 60 fps you should put it at 30 fps because that what BF3 runs at. Recording at 60 fps could cause desyncing.
