Xbox Game Bar vs. Xbox Game App

The new update to the Xbox Game Bar taking over group chats and not allowing them in the updated Xbox Game App is probably one of the worst updates I've seen. As a PC user, I don't use the game bar. Even after this update, I still don't use the game
bar. I use my phone to chat in group chat on the Xbox app with my groups. The game bar is not efficient, it blocks all other windows, stopping your game play or whatever else you might be doing. I have no idea how you would even invite someone to your game
from the game bar. It's a nightmare. I have seen group chats that were extremely active go completely inactive since the update. Nobody chats on them, means nobody plays together in the games we all share. I've gone to play other games not associated with
Xbox or the Xbox app/game bar, since the ones I shared with my group are no longer playable with those group members. Please consider adding group chat back to the Xbox app.

Relatively is new for the same thing that must have problems, let's hope in a few days be resolved

Both issues are subject to development. Who knows what we will see on our dashboards two years from now. Or five. It is a growing process like everything about Xbox. And I think that boat is seiling in right direction.

The thing is the game bar is so young in its development that I'd say a lot of these issues will be addressed in the coming months.

Were I to guess I almost wonder if the game bar will eventually take over for the app. I personally prefer the game bar. I think it's slick and fast.
