Xbox Game Bar unable to launch when pressing Win+G it says u'll need a new app for this...

Go to Windows Update and install all updates, including optional/additional updates.

Then open the Microsoft Store app, click on the 3 dots in the top right corner > download and updates and click on get updates and update everything.

Restart your PC to apply updates and try again.

it is working now, if the game bar is glitching like this going to settings-app settings and pressing on advanced settings on all of the xbox apps then pressing reset on them, then after that you have to restart the pc and it worked, Harry P told me this
and my fps stays the same now when I press win+g,

No, there is not that feature on the Website, but you can report as you saw in the Xbox app as well as on Game Bar (pressing Win+G). With the Game Bar you do have the option of providing more details, so that might be what you're looking for?

Yes I download the Xbox app from this xbox website https://www.xbox.com/en-US/apps/xbox-app-for-pc.

I installed the app using their xboxinstaller.exe installer.

I think its installed in C drive, the installer just run itself and never once allow me to select which drive to install the app.

On the question of game bar download issue, I found that when I first notice xbox app uninstall itself, the "Xbox game bar" would not work.

Every time I press Win+G a window would pop up saying "you'll need a new app to open this ms-gamingoverlay link" and it make me go look it up at

microsoft store. Even when I have Xbox app downloaded Xbox game bar would not work.

When I try to download it from the store, it would get stuck on download.

do you mean press win+g to open the xbox game bar? if so when you go to accounts i cant find the sign in options. there is only a sign out option
