Xbox Game Bar Spotify: Skip through song

If you are talking about listening to music on spotify while playing a game I know for sure you can do that because last night I was on wolf among us Listening to music on spotify. all you need to do to solve the problem of changing songs and have to back
out of you game. Do what I do just make you a long playlist of your favorite songs and when its something on that playlist you don't want to listen to all you got to do is press skip.

So i was just jamming out to stuff on the spotify app on xbox but then an ad came up and instead of waiting for it to skip cause i couldnt be bothered i quit out of the app. Now the spotify banner is stuck on my guide screen and i cant get rid of
it, ive tried uninstalling spotify and it was still there i tried even waiting for another ad but it didnt go away. Its so bad that i cant even skip songs from it or adjust certain things. I dont know how to get rid of this please help.

Hey guys! I really do enjoy the new dashboard but with an open question...? The guide no longer gives me control over changing the volume or skip songs on the Spotify app. I'm unsure if this is just a slight downfall due to the new update, or whether they
can and will reintegrate this feature.

Whoops, jumped the gun. "XBox, skip forward" will move to the next song, but "XBox, next song" no longer works. Is there any way to get "Next song" working on the new Groove app? That's much less clumsy that "Skip forward"...

Depends on the game. For example, if I get tired of the songs in Forza Horizon or grinding away in another game, then I'll turn on Spotify and listen to my playlist of favorites (mostly rock / metal songs).
