Xbox game bar run slow and party's hardly work

Party chat on Windows/Xbox App still works. An alternative is the Xbox game bar Party.

To bring up the Xbox game bar, Hold the Windows button and Press "G"

From there you will be able to initiate a Party and Much more!

I am having the same issue and it is NOT my console. This has been a problem since that 5hr downtime for the Xbox 360 Sign-In issue about 2 weeks or so ago. Game invites have not worked since but not only that, the entire Messaging system is messed up also. When a friend sends a message half the time the alert doesn't pop up on the 360 like it did before so I don't know when they write.

Again, this is NOT my console, NOT my internet. In fact to help show it is not my console, the Xbox app on Windows 10 is experiencing the same issue it seems as of yesterday for me. Messages are not sending at all or there is a delay to them sending and incoming messages that show up on my Xbox are not showing up on the App. This again is not just me (as 2 other people confirmed this same issue yesterday with the mobile version of Xbox App), NOT my console, NOT my PC and NOT my internet.

Today the Xbox App had me logged out and I was forced to sign back in which has never happened before. My couple of little PC games I have that are tied into my Xbox Live account refused to log me in for awhile and when they finally did they then refused to sync my data forever. Added on to all of this, Bing has been timing out for the last few days as well. Again, NOT my PC and NOT my internet as everything else online is running perfectly normal and fine. The problem all seems to be on Microsoft's end. I can confirm the sign-in and time out issues on a 2nd PC and friends have confirmed the Game Invites, Messaging and time outs of other MS related services so this is not something unique to our ends.

MS needs to look into these issues and fix them. Again, most of this started after that 5hr downtime for the Xbox 360 Sign-In issue about 2 weeks back. It was all fine before that point.

There haven't been any issues on the Xbox 360 invitations, so this would be something related to the console. Just to avoid having to redo procedures that you've tried before, have you done the following:

- Clear the console's cache;

- Restart your internet modem/router;

- Reinstall system updates;

- Open ports on your modem.

Let me know what you've tried to do and then I'll guide you through other procedures.

Me and my friends having the same problem. Game invites don’t pop up for the other players.

Has this been looked into by Microsoft?

Makes very frustrating to start a gaming session.

Thank you for the response, I have tried all 4 of those methods and also opened the ports on other xboxes as well and still wont receive invites after the initial one. For the game I am playing, Quake 4, you need to back out after every game to make sure the leaderboards track your progress. That's how I found the issue. I have never had this problem before Thursday of last week and my friend also said that the invites were buggy around the same time. I have also went into my privacy settings for my account and all of my notification settings are set to everyone.
