Xbox Game Bar recording function not working at all

As you can see from the photo, I can't press any of the recording functions for the Xbox Game Bar. Even when playing a game, it still does not let me capture anything, even when pressing the shortcuts to clip videos for games.

I searched up support for Xbox, and it said that I should turn on "Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar." in the settings, but I don't see the settings for it. I was able to record twice in the past, but after that, it won't work anymore.

1 - Type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search bar of the Start menu and then click Run as administrator.

2 - Enter chkdsk /f/x/r/v

Being in use the system will ask if the user wants to check the chosen drive after reboot. Just type S and restart the computer.

I was trying to replicate your situation, it seems Edge using the game bar recording feature is working as expected

Probably is a functionality between Edge and Game Bar to avoid any DRM issues

Hi,

The Windows Game Bar recording function isn't a screen recorder, it's limited to recording one game or application at a time. To record the whole screen you'll need a third party application.
