Xbox game bar party text to speech

Recently I've been using party chat on xbox game bar for windows 10 and my friends have been using text to speech on their consoles in the party text chat, which I am able to hear, however when I type there is no tts, and I've found no options that would enable this. I tried looking it up and found that apparently the option is in gaming features, but I am unable to access this as my computer cannot run directx11 ultimate. If this is the case, I would find it extremely strange that I would not be able to use tts due to having a slightly dated graphics card, as it shouldn't affect that at all. Am I missing something or would I really have to get a better graphics card?

If the software for text to speech runs trough directX 11 software then you will need to change your hardware for a compatible one, if you can't access because of this to the game features section of your game bar you won't be able to use any of the features included on that section

I would suggest doing this go to Windows Search type "Xbox Game Bar" > App Settings > Reset then restart your PC. Go to your Xbox Program install Xbox Game Bar again, should take a few seconds then do the Windows + G to open it back up. See if that did anything for you.

You can also enable Text to Speech:

Press the Xbox button on your controller

Navigate to Profile and system > Settings > Ease of Access

Select Game and Chat transcription

Under the Party chat options column, select one or both transcription settings

This will activate the transcription settings while you are in party chat. With those features enabled, you will now see voice chat as text on your screen, and other players will hear anything you type transcribed in a voice of your choosing.

That's the only options I can see that works right now. If this doesn't help you I can rerout you to another expert to see if they can help too.

The reset and restart method did not resolve my issue.

The second option: "Navigate to Profile and system > Settings > Ease of Access; Select Game and Chat transcription; Under the Party chat options column, select one or both transcription settings" is not available on the PC Game Bar. If you could explain better how to get to Profiles Settings in the context of the Game Bar, that would be well appreciated.

Try this procedure, hope it helps. You can enable the Text Conversation Chat or Speech Conversation Chat features. To do this:- Go to the game's main menu and select the Settings tab. - Enter the Accessibility submenu. - Select Enable Text to Speech Chat or Enable Speech to Text Chat. To mute or unmute the microphone, highlight your Gamertag and press the OPTIONS button. In-game chat is enabled. You cannot hear party audio and the party cannot hear your voice. To switch to party audio, select [Party Settings] > [Chat Audio].
