    Xbox Game Bar party issue when joining parties


    I have been having this issue with the Xbox Game Bar for a few weeks now. When i join a party, the other people in the party can hear me but i can't hear them. I have to open up task manager and kill the program and then reload it, and then it works for that party, but i have to do that before going into any party. I have updated the program to the newest version 7.225.3271.0 my windows is up to date and my headset is all up to date. If i go into the xbox game bar advanced settings, terminate, repair and reset it works for a couple of times but then goes back to not working when i join a party and have to end xbox task in task manager and then get into the game bar again and it will work. Anyone have any fixes?

    I assume you're using the Xbox Game Bar to join parties? If so, could you try using either the Xbox Beta app, or the Xbox Console Companion app and see if you have the same volume issues? Hopefully it's just a Game Bar issue.

    Waking up this thread. I was having the same issue. Game bar kept crashing whenever I would join a party/someone would join my party. I found that on my end it had something to do with the noise suppression setting. Every time I click on it to enable/disable it, the game bar would crash, but now that it's off I have no problems with the game bar. Hope this helps.

    I also have the same issue. As soon as I join, the party disconnects me from the party without any feedback telling me I lost connection to the party on the game bar. This is extremely irritating to deal with as I can't find others with the same problem.
