    Xbox Game Bar party chat not working with interface.


    So i have a Focusrite interface and I was able to use it fine on the app when I first got it but then i recently got a DAW for music production and needed to get the Focusrite driver to have it even run properly. Once I downloaded the driver my DAW app
    worked but my gamechats no longer work. Ive tested this theory because I uninstalled the driver and the gamechat started to work. plz help :'>

    hey, this seems to be an issue with something in the software of the Xbox game bar

    everyone with an audio interface has had this issue with Xbox parties only and there are no issues with other apps.

    it appears to be something with either the software or with Microsofts hardware because regardless of which interface

    I use (I have 5) and which microphone I use my friends all report (underwater robot or underwater static) from my microphone

    but only if its in an Xbox party, discord works fine, skype works fine, even game chats work fine.

    It seems to be an issue with the software communicating with the audio interface as with a standard USB or AUX mic

    I'm not having any of these problems.

    It's nearly 100% not on our end but something in the software of this new game bar

    and even when it is most of the time its not related to this properly.

    If anyone has a fix that's worked for them please don't hesitate to reply to this post please.

    Party chat on Windows/Xbox App still works. An alternative is the Xbox game bar Party.

    To bring up the Xbox game bar, Hold the Windows button and Press "G"

    From there you will be able to initiate a Party and Much more!

    Actually, this appears to be software based. I found a work around which has worked 3 times now. Snap party chat, start a party, turn on party chat, then mute your MIC THROUGH THE ON SCREEN INTERFACE, then unmute. Please try.

    Game Bar and Xbox Companion Network bug

    Game Bar and Xbox app conflict withneach other so bad. Once I installed Game Bar i had to remove Xbox App. But in the last two weeks Game Bar is working really bad. It refuses to let me join party chats. I send invites to party chat as well do not work.
    I tried to go back to xbox app since i can not tolerate half working software, and now Xbox app half works. No notification comes up at all for Xbox app but Game Bar persists even when i shut it of. I wanted uninstall Game Bar but you cant.

    Game Bar is cool and all but not worth it. How do i get rid of it?

    alot needs to be streamlined.. party chat, audio, the many layers of the interface, how party chat works when grouped or by your self.. using kinect as a micrphone when your buy yourself in mulit....
