Xbox Game Bar Party Chat dissconnects after 2-3 minutes.

I would recommend checking your
Network settings first, then if you get an error when you test the multiplayer connection, you can follow the steps here:

i have experienced the same issue.

Party is good if i stay on the party side bar. But if i go on a game it disconnects after 2-3 minutes.

And if i try to connect again it disconnects after 2-3 minutes without even giving a error code or a notification. Please fix this ASAP, because this is realy bugging me atm, and makes me not wanna play at all.

After contacting Microsoft I resolved the issue after leaving it unplugged from the console for the 3 minutes required. However the voice commands and in game chat and party chats are terrible and most of the time don't work on Ryse, which is my only game.

Party chat on Windows/Xbox App still works. An alternative is the Xbox game bar Party.

To bring up the Xbox game bar, Hold the Windows button and Press "G"

From there you will be able to initiate a Party and Much more!

The answer for question 1 is if you have the xbox game bar you should be fine

the answer for question 2 is that party chat should work but sometimes it doesn't work if somebody has bad NAT

the answer for question 3 is that the xbox app sees automaticaly which game you play if you havent logged out of the xbox apps
