Xbox Game Bar on PC Opens Then Closes

I'm completely unable to use Xbox Game Bar on my PC. When I press Win+G or the Xbox button on the controller, the Xbox Game Bar tool bar briefly pops up at the top of the screen then it immediately closes; no errors thrown, it just closes. I've tried any troubleshooting suggestions I can find online for this and similar issues. I've tried opening the settings and Terminating, Repairing, and Resetting, tried the RegEdit fixes. I've used Powershell to uninstall Xbox Game Bar and re-installed from the Windows Store. I've made sure Windows 10 is up-to-date. Nothing has resolved the issue as it still persists.

Any suggestions?

Hi BrittonP.

The Xbox Gamer Bar works as a monitor to visualize some options within the game. this is why it closes. If you use an Xbox controller to play on the PC, with the button that has the Xbox logo (guide button) you can open the Game Bar with a single click, basically
it's just a popup menu.

Please try this:

A. Reinstall the game bar via powershell command?
Right-click on the Start button and select Windows PowerShell (Admin) from the pop-up menu.

Copy and paste the following command in PowerShell and hit Enter to uninstall the Game Bar from your system.

Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay | Remove-AppxPackage

Now head over to Microsoft Store and search for Xbox Game Bar, install it and give it a new try

B. If maybe that doesn't work please delete the registry keys associated with the game bar :

Press Windows key+R then type regedit and press Enter.
Go to this path (expand the folders using the little ">")

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameDVR

Once there delete all the keys except (Default), restart your PC and try again
