    Hi guys,

    Had an issue where my outgoing audio was muted in a party but my mic was showing as working in the Xbox app itself. Mic wasn’t muted and all that, loads of various guides online but no fix but today I disabled the “ enable noise suppression “ option in settings -> audio and it worked! Tested it a few times and still working

    Mic cant seem to hear me on my xbox?

    make sure you didn't mute mic on the party chat side not the controller adapter highlight your name in party chat and press Y.

    pressing Y in party chat mode with your selection on the party chat system will mute you and pressing X mutes all party members (including yourself)

    it could also be that if you are in party Chat, but join a game lobby, your mic will show as muted because you are in a party. Some games will display the mic as muted when you are in XBL party chat.

    Currently, I plug the headset in, mute the mic, turn the volume down, and set it to the side. I wish there was a way to mute player chat entirely like on 360.

    Party chat might work too, just be in a party of one if possible and nothing will intrude hopefully.

    Has there been a solution to this issue? Just running into it myself for the first time. Trying to game with my brother, when I enter the game window party chat mutes my mic. I hit windows + g, game bar is open, he can hear me. Frustrating.
