    Xbox game bar not recording roblox in full screen


    I am trying to record my game with xbox game bar. But ever since like December it wouldn't record my game in full screen. I am not using the MS store app to play roblox, i am using the web player. It records everything else fine in full screen, but not
    the web player. I read an article that if you press alt+enter in roblox it maxes out the resolution. It worked until yesterday, 1/21/2021. I have tried restarting and updating my pc, and as well fixing the apps from the settings. Please help!

    Hello!

    If you're still looking for a solution, changing my DPI to 100% seems to have fixed the issue for me. You do that by right clicking on your desktop, going to your display settings, and setting the "Change size of text, apps, and other items" dropdown menu to 100%.

    To record a game in full screen, or in other words with no borders or window around it, the game itself should be full screened.

    Roblox does not have a native full screen mode that I can identify. Achieving a "full screen" view on Roblox is currently achieved with a keyboard shortcut. This is not the same as having full screen natively available. You will need to record Roblox in its natural, windowed view for it to work correctly.

    Okay! Open the Start menu, and select Settings > Gaming and make sure Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Xbox Game Bar is On. If Xbox Game Bar doesn't appear for a full-screen game, try keyboard shortcuts: Press the Windows logo key + Alt + R to start recording a clip, then press it again to stop.
