Xbox Game Bar is the worst communication software I have EVER used in my entire life.

Game Bar is a joke. There is no way an app should be broken for 3+ years with no fix. I have to do all these extra steps just to be able to join a party & half the time I can't even connect. This is genuinely one of the worst apps I have EVER used. Microsoft, you guys should genuinely be ashamed at how you treat your product & customers. I've been using Xbox since the original Xbox & at this point I'd rather go give my money to another company that actually cares about their software & the people that use it. Such a shame a billion dollar company can't fix one app. See you guys on Playstation.

What exactly is the problem that you're having?

Most of the time issues joining party chat is a result of not opening ports on your router.

That is literally the worst news I have ever heard in my entire life. I can't say why due to well, not being allowed to say. But it really is.
