    Xbox game bar is not in the Microsoft store windows 10


    I was having trouble opening the Game Bar with the shortcut Win+G and so I uninstalled it following this method:

    • Press the Windows key + X and select Windows PowerShell (Admin).
    • Type "Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage" (without the quotes) and press Enter.
    • Type "Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxApp -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage" (without the quotes) and press Enter.
    • Restart your computer.

    When I searched on the Microsoft Store for "Xbox Game Bar" to reinstall it it does not show up in the search results. I have Windows 10.

    We tried to replicate the issue you are describing and found out that we have the same observation. Let us help you how to reinstall one of the built-in apps so that you can start using the Xbox game bar.

    We have two workarounds to help resolve the issue.

    1. First, you will need to launch Xbox app and wait for the prompt to install updates from Microsoft store and follow the instructions until all updates are successfully installed.

    2. Second option is to use the Windows command to reinstall Xbox Game Bar. Follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + X
    • Click on Windows PowerShell (Admin)
    • Copy and paste the command below and hit enter:

      [table][tr] Get-AppxPackage -allusers | foreach {Add-AppxPackage -register “$($_.InstallLocation)\appxmanifest.xml” -DisableDevelopmentMode}[/tr][/table]
    • Wait until the process is completed and you can press Windows key + G to launch Xbox Game bar.

    I'd be happy to answer that. Game invites for games played over Xbox Live or downloaded from the Microsoft Store on PC are found in the Xbox Game Bar, not the Xbox Console Companion app. To open the Xbox Game Bar overlay just press the Windows key+G and
    the Xbox Social widget should be on the right and has a section for game invites. You should also be able to see the invites in your notifications by clicking the bell icon.

    I suggest reading the Xbox support article, "Get to know Xbox Game Bar on Windows 10" for more information regarding the
    Xbox Game Bar and what it can do.

    The Windows 10 Game Bar can be used to do what you've asked here. The Beta App's main function is to download Game Pass games (which actually download via the Windows Store).

    To open the Game Bar hold the Windows key and press G, or press the Xbox button on an Xbox One or Xbox 360 controller.

    Please follow these steps to enable, check, and Install game features:

    Step 1: Enable the Game Bar:

    1. Click on the Start menu and open the "Settings" (gear icon).
    2. In the Settings window, click on "Gaming."
    3. In the left pane, select "Game Bar."
    4. Toggle on the "Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using the Game bar" option.

    Step 2: Check Xbox Game Bar:

    1. Press the Windows key + G on your keyboard to open the Xbox Game Bar.
    2. If the Game Bar opens, it means gaming features are enabled, and you should be able to use them.

    Step 3: Please Install Xbox Game Bar, If you don't have the Xbox Game Bar installed, Xbox Game Bar can get it from the Microsoft Store:

    1. Open the Microsoft Store on your Windows 10 PC.
    2. Search for "Xbox Game Bar."
    3. Click on "Install" to install the Xbox Game Bar.

    If that doesn't help then Reset Game Bar in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Xbox Game bar > Advanced Options.

    And if that doesn't help then uninstall Game Bar in App Settings above, restart PC, reinstall Game Bar from Microsoft Store Settings > My Library.
