Xbox Game Bar draining laptop's battery

Thanks for answering. I already did that some days ago and battery usage remains the same.

Press Win + I or use other ways to open Windows Settings.
Locate and select Gaming.
Make sure Game bar is selected in the left panel.
Find Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar in the right panel.
Click the switch under it to turn it Off.

What the hell the control pad was showing it needed to be charged right, it was in the red, ive plugged it in for ten minutes MAX an now the light has turned white??

I'm pretty sure the battery is only offered as a packaged deal. ( play and charge kit) You likely can find third party rechargeable battery packs by themselves,as well as with a charge cable for around 10-15 bucks. I myself prefer to stick with the official
branded accessories though.

When you play Xbox cloud streamed games on your android device all the hard work is performed server side and sent to your phone as a video feed. All your phone does is process the video. I can only assume the battery drain is down to the screen.

Try to turn down the display brightness, the video resolution on the phone and any 'Video Enhancement' settings. You should find 'Video Enhancement' in your phone Settings > Display.

Video Enhancement will override what your phone brightness settings are and will consequently drain the battery more.
