Xbox game bar doesn't show I'm currently playing certain games

They're not going to do anything about this. I've been giving feedback on this for years. It's still not showing that I'm playing Crash Bandicoot 4 or Rogue Company. They should at least let us create custom statuses. My guess is that there is a database of games that they have, and if your game is not on the list, it will just show up as "Online"

I believe so, considering that you did a clean install of Windows 10 and also Windows 11. I recommend that you report this problem through the link below.

Thanks for advices, unfortunately, I l already tried lot of troubleshooting, even after clean reinstall of Windows 10, issue still appear, same after I tried Windows 11, propably a bug which could only be resolved by Microsoft team ?

Before we try any different solutions, please check if your windows are updated to version 21h1, if not update it.

To update your windows follow the instructions below.

Select the Start button and then go to Settings > Update and Security > Windows Update.

*If updates are up to date, try the alternative below.

If games aren't recognized by Xbox Game Bar, you can add them to the games list. To do so, you'll only need to launch the game, and then open Game Bar (Win + G), open Settings > and tick "Remember this is a game".
