    Xbox Game Bar Doesn't let me record on PC


    I have a laptop and i used the Xbox game bar to record lips once or twice but all of a sudden it doesn't let me when I click the windows key +alt+ r I get sent to the computers control panel? and when I do the G instead of the R to open up the app the record button is grayed out and doesn't allow me to click record at all ? IDK what to doo

    Sign in On Xbox Companion and Xbox Game Bar Doesn't Work

    Open the Start menu, and select Settings > Gaming and make sure Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Xbox Game Bar is On. If Xbox Game Bar doesn't appear for a full-screen game, try keyboard shortcuts: Press the Windows logo key + Alt + R to start recording a clip, then press it again to stop. Give it a shot and let me know how it goes!

    Sign in On Xbox Companion and Xbox Game Bar Doesn't Work

    I don't need help with recording clips. I need help trying to sign into my game bar because as of right now I cannot sign into my Microsoft account.

    Xbox game bar does not record audio after tabbing out

    Ok, my friend. You can try this, please:

    Go to Settings in the Xbox Game Bar, Capturing, then “Audio to Record”. By default it is set as Game. You can change it to All as that includes Game audio, your microphone, apps, etc. This maybe can help to not stop recording when you alt + tab.

    If it doesn't help too, please let me know.
