Xbox game bar disabling communication/interaction with unblocked users

i have three friends that I audio chat with often. I can't audibly speak to any of them while in a party. Besides this, one is normal in the other categories and i can join their party and hear them and all. The other two are stuck in a sort of "false block". I can't add them as a friend or hear them and when I click their profile it displays them as falsely offline. I would like to reiterate that neither have me blocked. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing xbox game bar and using the xbox app and the website version of xbox, but they all give the same results where I can't friend them. There is no error message or anything that might cause whoever responds to be like "WeLl LoOk A bIt MoRe ClOsElY". I have looked in setting and everything and no dice.

Thank you for contacting the Xbox Support forums. Before I attempt to assist, I would like to clarify the error you are receiving. Please confirm when you are unable to speak/hear users. You mentioned that you can hear your friends when you join their party but are you unable to hear/speak to them when you attempt to invite them to a party? Or is it just two *specific* friends that you are unable to communicate with?

Go to settings>Gaming>Xbox Game bar and disable

Then type Xbox Game bar in Windows Bar>right click>apps settings and click ''terminate, repair and restore'', restart your PC, re-enable Game bar and see if that solves the problem.
