XBOX Game Bar cropping is wrong

Does anyone know how to fix this issue with the windows 10 screen recorded?

As you can see, only 1/4 of the recording is the game. The rest is filled with this black mass.

Any help would be hugely appreciated

Hi Jesse,

Thanks for responding. Regarding the frame rate, there are two options. iv changed it from 30fps to 60 fps but unfortunately the problem still exists.

Are there any other things to try?

There's no option, and i still cant fix this. please some1 help

it usually happens when the pc is say set to 1080 and the game is running in windowed mode and the game is running less than 1080. see if you can change it in the in game option to 1080.

The game is being played not in full screen, its quite a small size, im not sure what the internal res is or how to find this out.

@jesse E, im not sure what triggered it, it first started happening when i created a new partition on the laptop i believe.

it used to work fine, then something happened and it randomly started doing this
