Xbox Game bar completely crashes PC.

I have a pretty good PC.

It DEFINATLY should be able to run Xbox Game Bar. And I have never had any problems with it before. I was in Minecraft and was gonna DM my friend and did Windows+G to load the Game bar and it loaded, and then everything froze. My CPU, CPU and RAM desktop widgets froze but my mouse still worked. I left it for 20 minutes and it didn't look like it was going to do anything so I force shut down my PC because pressing the button once didn't work. I had stuff installing and now I've run into problems with that. I am wondering if this has happened to anybody else and if so, is there anything I can do to prevent it from happening again.

PC Specs just incase:

- Intel(R) Core i7-7700 CPU @3.60GHz
- 16 GB Ram

Thanks for reaching out to the forums! We are sorry to hear about your issue. Before we start the troubleshooting process may i ask if your pc and game bar app were up to date before your pc crashed or were those one of the downloads you were running?

Anytime i try to start or join a party on the xbox console companion app it just has a loading symbol next to my mouse for a few seconds and then the app completely crashes and now i just cant join partys anymore without the app crashing.

The same thing also happens with the xbox game bar

Hi Team,

When I try to post on LFG using the XBox Game Bar, the game bar crashes.

But if I join other people's LFG, it works fine without crashing.

Help would be appreciated.

Update: I reinstalled the Xbox Game Bar (using
this article) and now it works! Thanks for all the help!

How about on PC, game crashes while looking for a new match and completely closes out the game

I have definitely reinstalled the game multiple times and now all saves are gone and the game crashes repeatedly after sync completes..

Also I should have mentioned this is on PC not XBox One.
