XBox game bar auto adjusts microphone level

Thank you very much. I would be nice if Microsoft could add an application-level settings such as in Skype and and Steam.

I'm testing the level overrides and exclusive access solutions at operating system level.

try here to see if any of this helps, might not be gamebar that is doing it, i know teams is annoying and does it but skyoe and steam can do it in the background.

You should check the levels of your microphone from the console.

1. With your headset attached, press the glowing “Xbox” button
2. Navigate to the “System” tab
3. Select “Audio”
4. Adjust the “Mic monitoring” option
5. Slide the bar left to decrease the microphone volume level
6. Slide the bar right to increase the microphone volume level

I have adjusted the both settings ("set time zone automatically" was not originally on),hit the sync button and then restarted,

however I still can not talk in party.

If this helps, In the audio tab on the Xbox game bar, the bar under "windows default input" it is showing that it is picking sound up through my microphone.
