Xbox game bar achievement notification wrong language

Hello. I'm playing Halo master chief collection on steam. It runs just fine.. But the xbox game bar achievement notification is in Danish. I would like it in English please.
My system is set to English. Xbox app is english And so is the achievements when i open the app to check. So why does the notification itself stay in danish?
The steam achievements is english. Its just that game bar notification. Xbox game bar is also english when i open it

I'm also finding people saying the language is set to your ip. So there might not be anything to do about it other than change it with a VPN. Its pretty recent i reinstalled windows. Suggestions on what to try next is welcome

And perhaps add an option for language in game bar itself for the menu/notifications

Hello there!

I suggest that you try uninstalling game bar and then installing again to refresh your settings, since it should automatically be set on the language that your PC is set to.

Hello. Your suggestion to delete and re-install game bar is giving me trouble. The button to uninstall is Grey. And a google search tells me i need to install software to get rid of it. And i'm not sure i like that idea. As I did mention, the game bar itself is in english. Its the achievement notification that is not. And i haven't touched any settings in game bar before this.

i tried doing both of these. That did not fix it .

Try using your account everywhere (including the Microsoft store) to see if the achievement notification appears

And this can be a bit dumb, but make sure to have notifications enabled for the Xbox game bar via windows settings and game bar settings
