Xbox freezes, crashes, and does not respond

Hi Christian, I reset the Xbox like you said to do and the guide shows up but everything else is still not working my games still crash and freeze, not responsive, I can’t even turn it off without pulling the power cable because it doesn’t respond at all

I just want to confirm, are you able to navigate through the console dashboard specifically through the Xbox settings?

If yes, try to perform the factory reset keep my games and apps:

Note: Nothing to worry, this will not delete your saved data progress but will remove your Xbox accounts and Xbox home on your console. You can re-add your accounts and set the account again as an Xbox home if there's any after the factory reset process.

If you’re ready to reset your console to the factory default settings, follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options:

Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It resets the OS and deletes all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.
