Xbox fortnite - outfit won't save system stuck

Xbox fortnite, just changed an outfit and just sits saying saving. Even system restart won't clear?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

Here are the steps on where to find your skins in the game Fortnite - Battle Royale:

Navigate to the Locker Tab.
Click on the outfit that is currently equipped.
Any outfit that has multiple styles will have [Selectable Styles] in the description, and a divided circle in the lower right-hand corner of the outfit’s thumbnail.
Click on the Edit Style button.
Select the style you want for the outfit.
Click the Save and Exit button to apply the new style.

I just checked this on my friend's Xbox, but my outfits didn't carry over. Are the outfits saved on the local hard drive, or is my situation an uncommon one?

he won't lose anything when the subscription is out it's saved on the cloud and Fortnite has everything saved unless you manually delete the account he'll be okay
