    Xbox Fortnite gamertag not changing


    Hi . I have a problem that i had changed my xbox gamertag and i was expecting to fortnite name to be changed also but it’s been over 30 hours it’s not updated yet so please i need some serious help for this issue cuz i hate the old gamertag and I would like to not be seeing it again

    contact Fortnite Support    . What platform are you playing Fortnite on? The closest thing to changing the display name in Fortnite would be to set up a gamertag change that would then be reflected in game.

    fortnite on xbox goes by your gamertag name not your epic games name. So either make a new xbox gamertag or pay the 10$ fee to change your xbox gamertag

    I don't see any issues with the new Xbox gamertag format and Fortnite. If you want to change it, you can certainly do so, and it will be updated even when you play Fortnite. Please note that only the first change is free. Subsequent changes will incur a fee.

    Hi there,

    I'm afraid it's not possible to make the account a Child account, but for Fortnite there might be a different option, which will at least let your son keep the Fortnite specific purchases and profile (since these are connected to the Epic account). It will
    require a different Xbox Live Account (and Microsoft Account) so achievements will be none, purchases regarding other games won't be present etc etc and a different Gamertag.

    I myself don't have Fortnite or have tried these steps, so be sure to double check just to be sure.
