Xbox - Fortnite account only American

I personally go to the microsoft.com site and log into my profile that is associated with the xbox account and then enter my card info in there, when i go back to my xbox the card shows up no issue.

I think you might have too change your console country or whatever in the xbox settings

It is likely that either your account or console region do not match, and thus yielding these results. Its possible configuring this correctly, you should be able to produce much more favorable results.

What is the region of your account?

If I remember correctly your account and physical location must match or you will run into issues purchasing content.

The problem is that they shut down the Canadian store Xbox 360 market place so only Americans can download and buy Xbox 360 content. So the region of the store and the region of a non-American account won't ever match therefore restricting all non-Americans
from downloading Xbox 360 content. So basically non-Americans money isn't good enough for Microsoft.

Fortnite DLC codes redeemed through Xbox are for Xbox consoles only. You need to load Fortnite on an Xbox console for the content to be redeemed to your Fortnite account. You can do this with a physical console or Xbox Cloud Gaming: Xbox.com/play
