    Xbox for PC Use Name


    Today I went to the Xbox for pc site to get a sub but I noticed that the user name in the top right hand corner is different from my normal Windows user name.

    It's the first time I've been to the xbox website so I'm surprised at another username being used. Is this normal or does this indicate that someone else has accessed it beforehand?

    Hi!

    I think it is your Xbox gamertag, your alter ego in the Xbox world and it is different from your Windows account username. A gamertag is created for you the first time you sign in to the Xbox app.

    If you don’t like your gamertag, you can change it once for free.
