The black bars you see on your ultra-wide screen are normal because the Xbox One doesn't support this aspect ratio.

Not only that, but unfortunately, Microsoft didn't announce if they plan to enable ultra-wide aspect ratio for future consoles.

Additionally, it is important to mention that even if Xbox supports this aspect ratio, the game developers still need to adapt their games and make them compatible with this aspect ratio. Something very unlikely on consoles because the majority of screens have a 16:9 aspect ratio.

However, you can request this feature to Microsoft by sharing your idea in the official Insiders Subreddit.

It is highly unlikely any game consoles will support them for this reason. Consoles are about having an exact target to hit, they're not supposed to be versatile.

But wasn't most PC games that were also on the Xbox Support Ultrawide anyway i remember it being like that like make the Xbox Dashboard Accomadate the extra space to put extra stuff on there something like that
