Xbox Feature request

I would like to see a download timer in a future software update. Reason being is that my ISP gives me unmetered downloading from the hours of 2:00AM to 8:00AM. This way I can set my "big" game downloads in advance without having to wake up to start and
stop my huge downloads and updates.

Feature request...

I wish they'd add a sleep timer option. When I watch TV late at night it'd be nice to set a timer so everything would shut off after a certain amount of time that I set. Maybe in a future update.

Feature Request

The Netflix app on 360 updated right before I got my One and it sucks that the Xbox One app doesn't have the same features as the new app for 360. Just a thought.

Yeah it is a good idea. I'm surprised that microsoft never thought of the idea right from the start.

This is a brilliant feature to request, as others have stated you should definitely post this on the uservoice site. Good luck and I hope they can add this for you, and others who need it.

The black bars you see on your ultra-wide screen are normal because the Xbox One doesn't support this aspect ratio.

Not only that, but unfortunately, Microsoft didn't announce if they plan to enable ultra-wide aspect ratio for future consoles.

Additionally, it is important to mention that even if Xbox supports this aspect ratio, the game developers still need to adapt their games and make them compatible with this aspect ratio. Something very unlikely on consoles because the majority of screens have a 16:9 aspect ratio.

However, you can request this feature to Microsoft by sharing your idea in the official Insiders Subreddit.

Xbox is a mass consumer device meant for single specified targets and with televisions

It is highly unlikely any game consoles will support them for this reason. Consoles are about having an exact target to hit, they're not supposed to be versatile.

But wasn't most PC games that were also on the Xbox Support Ultrawide anyway i remember it being like that like make the Xbox Dashboard Accomadate the extra space to put extra stuff on there something like that
