    Xbox family safety limits don’t work


    I have set up Xbox time limits a few years ago on MS family safety. It used to work great, however, Over the last few months neither the total time limits (2 hr per day) nor the time of day limits (4-9pm) work. My kid literally can play all day, even on days when the time limit is set to zero.

    What’s worse is the family safety app shows that time is up for the day, actually says “Time Limit Reached For the Day” yet it doesn’t put a stop to the play and ask for permission to ask for more time like it used to.

    Like I said, this used to work great so it is not the settings nor do I need a lesson on how to set it up. It simply doesn’t work for me, and I’m sure that it works for others or else MS would be hearing from many more people.

    Without the screen time limits the Xbox will end up being donated and is worthless as a parent. Any help would be appreciated.
