    Xbox False Bans


    I had a looking for group post that said if you want more info on the post, join it and I'll message you the information. Because many people got interested, they all received the identical message that they solicited, however I still received a ban for
    it. There was no solicitation of money or profanity in the message, so the only reason for the ban was that an identical message was sent to multiple people. So apparently being popular and spamming people randomly are punished equally. It's not reasonable
    to ban someone for using the same message to spread information if they were not the one initiating the interaction, every player sent such message joined a post first. The dumb part is people threaten to DDOS me all the time, get reported and nothing happens.
    Microsoft seems to just have it out for the people trying to have fun more-so than anything, or else they'd crack down on real criminal offenses on their services, such as DDOSing which is a 10 year felony offense. Honestly, at the rate Microsoft is acting,
    they should lose all Section 230 protections under the communication decency act given they allow stuff like that to stand but act in complete bad faith to ban anything they deem offensive.

    Hiya!!

    Making false reports to the XBOX Enforcement team is unacceptable and should not be used for such actions! Just like making a false 911 call, repeated false reports could find you to be banned.

    There are no false bans. They investigate before banning, and don't ban without evidence.

    Enforcement will check and if they find what they say is true then I guess you get banned if what they say is false they may get banned for false accusation

    Very Serious Xbox Security Breach through messages

    Xbox overturned my false bans and gave me a code for Xbox Live Gold, but the problem is still present. I just got another communication ban.
