    Hi

    I have been struggling the last couple of months to download new games or apps to my Xbox One. Downloads start a full expected speed, but suddenly stops after a short while.

    I checked with my ISP multiple times. I am running on a uncapped/un-throttled/unshaped 100Mbps fibre connection. The ISP is not the problem. I should not have any issues.

    The only conclusion that I can make now is that I am being throttled by Microsoft.

    I gave done a factory reset, I have reformatted my Xbox hard drive and loaded the latest OSU1 in my attempt to get the downloads working. The Xbox is working fine, it seems.

    Can someone please help me with this issue as I do not know where to look or who to ask anymore with regards to this issue.

    How are you?

    Press Windows Key + i and go to apps, search for ''Microsoft Store'' click ''advanced options'' and then ''terminate, repair and reset.

    Windows key + i again and go to updates and security>troubleshooting>additional troubleshooting and run the troubleshooting for Windows Update and Windows Store apps.

    After that, restart your PC install the Xbox app, and see if it resolves the issue.

    This could be a problem with any downloads/ game updates. if you haven't downloaded any, or it failed half way through

    Hi there,

    I don't believe there is a way to initiate a download to your Xbox from your PC or through the Xbox App. You would need to go to your games and apps section and look under Updates for any available updates.

    Your Xbox will download any updates over night when it's in Instant-On mode and the option to keep games and apps updated is selected found under Settings>System>Updates.

    How can I disable automatic updates of XBox GamePass for PC games, or at least actually update instead of re-download the entire game every time?

    For DOOM Dark Ages it originally showed a 60GB+ download. I restarted the store and XBox app and then it correctly showed an ~800MB update. Once that finished downloading it said the update failed. When I tried restarting it it kicked off the 60GB download again. When I look in my XBoxGames folder, DOOM Dark Ages is gone so it appears that on failed update it just deleted the whole game or something? I'll restate again that I have not made any changes to the game. I have just installed it, updated graphics drivers, and then played it.

    Microsoft Flight Simulator says an update must be installed.

    If the update didn't appear it will be necessary to completely reinstall the game through the Xbox app.

    I have not been able to complete a MSFS update since the mandatory update some weeks ago. I have tried to uninstall Xbox and MSFS and reinstall but no mater what I try it fails. If I start it off from inside the xbox app it gets to a screen asking ne to hit any key to start but nothing happens. If I start it off from inside the MS store it gets to the installation manager screen telling me it will download 110.66gig but again nothing happens. it is showing 1.19.8 as the current version.

    I have a new 1660supper Video card with 6gig an I7 38gh and 16 gig of ram.

    Any help would be appreciated
