    Xbox failing to turn on


    Yeah, power went out recently, I went to turn my Xbox One on and every time I hit the power button, it wouldn't activate, there'd just be a faint chime and the power button isn't illuminated. I thought it might be the power source, so I unplugged the "brick"
    until the light faded, plugged everything back in and the same thing happened. I'm at a loss here. Right now I'm just trying to confirm if I need to send this thing in or not. Thanks for any help sent this way.

    console not powering on. If it still will not turn on, you can go to
    device support. Here you can register console, check warranty status, and set up a repair. Try all the steps and let us
    know.

    I must have the I.Q. of a bowl of jello. I disconnected everything, HDMI, external hard drives, the whole nine. Set the console aside BY ITSELF, went outside shortly after my original post to break bricks out of pure rage came back in, hooked everything
    back up for one last try AND.....it came on. Everything is fine now and it's the best feeling in the world. I want to thank all of you lords and ladies of the forums for coming to a guy's aid. I mean that. :)

    Unfortunarely, i believe it is the PSA (or even something else that fried). Try holding the power button for several seconds (while plugged) bht probably it will do nothing.

    Before you request a repair, you may connect your console directly to a different power outlet in your household. You may also try with a different PSU.
