xbox failed me after offline system update, it kept crashing so i followed microsoft.com's...

Kept crashing doing one of the races, after about 5 fails it gave me the option to skip. I was dissapointed.

from what i understand he has gta and fortnight. now he had to reinstall the games after his system crashed. so he did the usb offline update. would it be possible that the xbox still saved some of the old files and thats whats messing it up like cash? i
believe its both games fail.
