Xbox Factory Reset button doesn't work.

I have the black screen of Death, I've tried all methods and they don't work. When clicked on the factory reset button it leads me into the preparing console and its stops at 50% and doesn't move.

Seems like you have performed all the necessary steps.

Do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? A corrupted hard drive may cause issues as well.

Also, when you reset the console did you choose reset and remove everything?

If a hard reset (holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds) doesn't improve the situation, turn the console off again by holding the power button for 10 seconds.

Now hold Eject and Bind buttons and turn the console on. Keep holding down the Eject and Bind buttons, until the console boots to a recovery menu.

Try doing a factory reset keeping your games and apps.

After doing the factory reset, and the console still not working properly, try doing a

factory reset via USB drive as described here.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this,

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

Last option, only use this option if everthing here does not work.

Factory reset your Xbox One. If all else has failed, the last thing you can try is to factory reset your Xbox One. Make sure your save data is backed up before factory resetting your game console. Use the following steps to factory reset your Xbox One:

Press the Xbox button on your controller.

Select Profile & system.

Select Settings.

Select System.

Select Console info

Select Reset console.

Select Reset and keep my games and apps. If this option doesn't work, repeat and select Reset and remove everything.
