    Xbox external hard drive empty on another xbox


    So my wifi is down right now and my home xbox is my sister's xbox, so in order to be able to play my games I moved my external hard drive to her xbox. However, when it says it's ready to use it shows that 97% of it is being used but the xbox isnt showing
    any games at all. I have no clue at all what to do

    Since it's working just fine using a different external hard drive it means that it's not the Xbox console, another option that you can try is using the external hard drive on a different Xbox.

    Also, imagine how much more expensive the console would be. The Xbox branded external 2TB hard drive is overpriced as it is. It's cheaper to just get another external hard drive.

    When I ran out of space on my external Hard drive I just added another external drive to my Xbox One console and set this new hard drive as my default location for installing games.

    I understand you are experiencing an issue with your external hard drive's games not showing up on your Xbox One. You may want to try plugging in your external hard drive to another USB port on your console. Also, check out this article for troubleshooting
