Try it with the only thing connected to the router is the xbox, see if that works. Do you have a wifi option see if that works. Your next step may be a factory reset keeping your games and apps, will only take about 10 minutes but it may update your operating
system on the console. There is an option for an offline update

Yeah i figured out to get it to work I have to plug in the ethernet cable and then restart the console for it to work

Try this, run a 2nd ethernet cable and plug it into a different port on router and connect to console. If you are going to try to use same ethernet cable, then you will have to restart router and console every time you switch from computer to console.
Or try to unplug power to router and console for 2 mins. Then plug router in and wait 2 more mins, then plug power for console, turn on and see if it signs in.

Yeah everything else works fine it's just the xbox it did the same with my old xbox aswell.

Ok so whenever I plug my ethernet cable into my xbox it does not connect to xbox live or the internet I'm wondering how to solve this problem because the cable works perfectly fine in my pc but my xbox doesn't seem to like it
